2013 Update

While we were hoping to get aother .2 mile of track in service this year, it now seems unlikely in 2013. That small stretch is needed to reach the next point where the track and street are in close enough proximnity to transfer to the wine bus and make a convenient place for engineers to change ends on the Polar trains. While hoping for R'ville "next year" (like in sports), an additional .7 miles, plus that .2, would bring us to River Road, just above the R'ville yard and the last place to transfer to the bus before actually reaching the station. It could also be possible to transfer them directly there without it.

The regular season ended on a high note with 1,000 more regular riders in October than last year and getting ready for Polar, which sold out in about 30 hours back on August 1st and 2nd!

    Can you tell me the disposition of the Budd RDCs that were used on the Syracuse shuttles by the NYS&W?
